Wildflowers Learning Center was conceived as an answer to a few simple questions: Where do we want our kids to spend their time? What kind of atmosphere will benefit our children? How do we balance our children’s need for play, movement and fun with education? We want our children to experience local, healthy, fun. We think you will agree that giving kids space to move and exercise fosters growth in every aspect of their lives.
Move well
We believe it is important for kids to move freely and have lots of time to explore their interests while learning new skills. At Wildflowers, we focus on creating spaces where children learn through play both individually and as a group. We love to see their energy as they work together to accomplish tasks.
Eat well
We have a passion for wholesome food and good nutrition. We offer two healthy snacks each day and strive to provide organic and locally-sourced items whenever possible. The children are exposed to a variety of fruit, vegetables and other whole foods in fun, nutritious recipes developed by our Nutritionist. You can see our snack menus here.
Play well
Children are like sponges, they soak up everything around them. Thus, we find it important to provide a huge variety of experiences. This is why we have an array of areas within the school designed specifically for developing different abilities through play and movement. Playing games individually, in groups and as a class allows the little ones to develop critical life skills like problem-solving and collaboration.
Think well
Just like you, we are focused on early education. We want to make sure children are ready for all of the academic opportunities in their future. Our methods are just a little different. Here, kids spend less time seated at desks or tables and more time running and playing, because we believe movement, fun and learning go hand-in-hand. Your kids will be having so much fun, they won’t realize they’re preparing for success in school and in life.
