Wraparound & After School Care
We accept Wisconsin Shares for our 4K & K/1 programs.

Wildflowers Learning Center offers a safe, nurturing, and fun-filled environment for 4K, Kindergarten and First Grade students once their school day ends. We blend educational support with creative play, helping young learners continue to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Some of our program highlights include:

  • STEAM Explorations: Hands-on activities—like simple science experiments, arts and crafts, building with blocks (including our Imagination Playground Big Blue Block Set!) and games—spark curiosity and problem-solving skills.

  • Active Play & Movement: Whether it’s outdoor games, guided movement sessions, or free play, children develop coordination, teamwork, and a love for physical activity.

  • Quiet Time & Reading: A cozy corner stocked with picture books lets kids unwind, read, or discover storytelling in a calm atmosphere.

  • Snack & Social Hour: Fresh, healthy snacks are provided daily, and children enjoy casual interaction with peers—fostering friendship and communication skills.

The program runs from the first day of school in September, 2026 until the last day of school in June, 2027. After that, families are welcome to sign up for our Summer Program.

  • Wildflowers accepts Wisconsin Shares (please click here for information about eligibility and how to apply).
  • There are no discounts offered for the 4K or the Kindergarten After School Care programs.

Note

  • Full monthly tuition fee includes after school care from Monday-Friday (from school dismissal time until 5:30 PM)
  • Full monthly tuition fee also includes care on days when MMSD is closed and Wildflowers Learning Center is open.
  • Wildflowers accepts Wisconsin Shares.
  • Tuition is to be paid for the full month on the 1st of each month, or paid twice per month, on the 1st & 15th. If you pay twice per month, at least 50% of the payment must be completed by the 1st.
  • A one-time enrollment fee of $75 will be charged to each family (regardless of number of children joining) in order to reserve their spot(s). This fee is non-refundable. There is no fee to be on our waiting list.
  • No discounts are offered for these programs.

Infants

We keep our babies busy and engaged with sensory play, "high chair" art projects and lots of cuddles.

6 weeks - 12 months

Toddler

There is no one more curious than our toddlers, who love to keep moving and exploring throughout the day.

1 - 2 years

Preschool

Our preschoolers explore literacy and math concepts and enjoy singing, dancing and making art!

3 years old

4k

Our 4K program nurtures social-emotional development and building early academic skills through play.
